Dato’ Sheikh Awab Sheikh Abod was appointed Chief Executive Officer of MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad on 1 January 2014, having been CEO designate since 1 December 2013.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, USA. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and investment banking.

From 2003 to 2004, he was Acting CEO of Malaysian International Merchant Bank. He held the position of President and CEO of Affin Investment Bank from 2005 till 2007, and ofChairman of PECD Bhd from 2007 to 2010. He is currently both a Director of Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Bhd and Chairman of its Finance & Investment Committee. He is also Chairman of Axis Consultancy & Advisory Services. He also sits on the Board of several companies within the Felda Global Ventures Group of Companies.

He has no conflict of interest with the Company and does not have any family relationship with any other director or major shareholder of the Company. He has not been convicted for any offences within the past ten years.

Mohamad Amri Sahari @ Khuzari is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad.

He is responsible for the Group’s overall business strategy and vision development. He also oversees the operations, policies, strategies, growth and profitability of Kilang Gula Felda Perlis Sdn Bhd (KGFP). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree from South Dakota State University, USA, and a Master of Business and Administration (Strategic Management) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

He began his career with Felda Palm Industries Sdn Bhd as a Factory Engineer in 1989 and in 1996 became a Mill Manager for Hamparan Badai Palm Oil Mill, Lahad Datu, Sabah. He was appointed General Manager of Felda Palm Industries Sdn Bhd in 2004 before being seconded to KGFP as General Manager. He was promoted to Senior General Manager in 2008, a post he held till 2010.

Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of KGFP. He also sits on the Board of several companies within the MSM Malaysia Holdings Group of Companies.

Raja Faridah Raja Ahmad is the Chief Financial Officer of MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad, responsible for Group Finance for the MSM Malaysia Holdings Group of Companies.

She holds a Bachelor in Accountancy degree from the University of East Anglia, UK. She is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

She began her career with the Perak State Development Corporation in 1990. She joined FELDA as an accountant in 1991, and was appointed Manager/Head of Finance. From 1993 to 2005 she was Senior Finance Manager of several companies and divisions within the Felda Group.

She rose to become General Manager, Finance in 2004, assuming the responsibility of the Head of Finance of the Group’s Plantation Division before joining Felda Holdings Bhd (FHB) in 2005. In 2008, she was seconded to PwC Capital Sdn Bhd, a company within the PricewaterhouseCoopers network of affiliate firms, specialising in consultancy and advisory work. She was then promoted to Executive Director of FHB Group Finance in 2009, a post she held till 2011.

Ismail Abdullah is the General Manager, Logistics responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of MSM products to customers and for the operational management of the Astakonas fleet consisting of 47 prime movers based at MSM Sungai Buloh.

He holds a Police Science Diploma from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

He joined the Royal Malaysia Police Force in 1970 as a Probationary Inspector and retired as a Senior Assistant Commissioner (II) in 2006. He joined Astakonas in 2007 as the General Manager, a post he still holds.

Ha Charm Mun is the General Manager, Factory Operations responsible for overseeing the operation of MSM’s sugar refinery in Prai.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree from the University of Sussex, UK.

He began his career at MSM in 1982 as a Mechanical Engineer primarily responsible for plant maintenance and upgrading, and for the implementation of expansion projects. In 1992, he joined DuPont Singapore as a Senior Engineer at the Adi-pure Plant. Then, in 1999 he was appointed Maintenance Manager of Idemitsu SM (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, responsible for plant maintenance support. He rejoined MSM in 2002 and was appointed General Manager in 2004.

Koo Shuang Yen has been the Company Secretary for MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad and its Group of Companies since 20 May 2011.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

She has acted as Company Secretary and Head of Finance in several private limited companies, including Felda Holdings Bhd and it Group of Companies from 1991 to 2010.

She currently serves as Vice President, Group Finance of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad, in charge of the Group’s finance and accounting matters.
